The HPE ProLiant DL320 Gen11 server is connected to the Silicon Root of Trust and the 4th generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor – a dedicated security processor integrated into the Intel Xeon System-on-a-Chip (SoC), to manage secure boot, storage encryption, and secure virtualization.

The HPE ProLiant Gen11 servers use the silicon root of trust to anchor the firmware of an HPE ASIC, creating an immutable fingerprint for the Intel® Xeon® processor that must be matched exactly for the server to boot. This ensures that malicious code is stopped and healthy servers are protected.

HPE ProLiant Gen11 servers continuously protect healthy servers by detecting a server with compromised security in the shortest possible time – to the point of preventing the boot with malicious code detection and containment and with IDevID certificates installed by default.

HPE ProLiant Gen11 servers provide automated disaster recovery, including recovery of validated firmware, and facilitate recovery of operating system, application, and data connectivity. This provides the fastest way to bring a server back online and into normal operation.
